A little about me.....
Blythe dolls are fashion dolls with big heads and colour changing eyes.
I was made and sold for about a year in 1972 by kenner.
Due to the lack of interest,I was taken off the shelves,until 27 years later I became POPULAR!
Due to artworks,books,photography and the internet....
Japanese toy company Takara began producing new additions and here I'am....
Its been reported that I was modelled on the artworks of Margaret Keane.
I'am now popular all over the world, Japan loves me.
Most of the people who own me are women, collectors, hobbyists....
